We owe who we are today to our years working as press photographers.
It was 4th February 1996, when Chris’s photo of a tragedy inside the Malta Dry Docks landed him his first newspaper front page. Being only 20 years of age and unknown in the media sector, Chris worked his way through a number of local newshouses, namely The People and MaltaToday.
Through his lens, Chris aimed to capture the best images which document an event, told a story or conveyed a message to support the printed word. As he grew in the sector, his pictures were increasingly published online and also used by foreign agencies such as Time Magazine, The Guardian, CNN and Demotix. In 2015, international news agency Associated Press, appointed Chris as their permanent stringer in Malta.
